Description

DIRECTION OF USE:
Applicator should wear the proper protective equipments during applications. Shake the containers before use. Dilute 1 part of Protek 25% with 200 parts of water. The emulsion must be mixed gently to avoid foaming.

PRE-CONSTRUCTION
The site should be well drained. All vegetation should be removed and any tree or bush stamps uptooted. The site must be cleared of any cellulosic material e.g. wood, carboard, etc. Any termite mounds must be removed completely and where possible the soil be replaced and compacted. When this is not possible, it must be leveled to the ground. Care should be taken to ensure that such leveled areas are fully treated.

Spray the emulsion over the site using a low pressure sprayer of 25 psi at the rate of 5 liters per square meter. Construction
the floor slab within the day or cover the area with polyethlene plastic sheet until the cement is ready to be poured off.

After the floor slab has been constructed, a 30cm deep trench should be created around the outside of the foundation. Inject the emulsion using a rod at the rate of 5 liters per meter.

POST-CONSTRUCTION
Drill 20-30cm holes on the concrete floor inside and around the building. Inject Protek25% EC dilution using a low pressure sprayer of 25 psi at the rate of 5 liters per square meter. Digging trenches of 15 x 30 cm around the area can also be done after pre and post construction treatment. The soil obtained can be run with 5 liter per meter proportion as it is being replaced in the trench. It is advisable to cover the
perimeter of treated soil with concrete slabs or with a good layer of gravel.
